Philip has built up vast experience in Operational Management across key industries in the UK and NZ, including Road Transport, Distribution and Logistics, Fleet Management, FMCG, and Multi-Temp multi drop Food Distribution. Earlier in his career Phil was a qualified engineer, so is not afraid to get his hands dirty and can fix anything!


Phil’s most recent role was working in a Employment Advocacy organisation and prior to that was with the former Engineering Printing and Manufacturing Union (EPMU) now ETU where he honed his extensive skills in multi employer environments.

Phil is a skilled professional on Collective Employment design and bargaining strategy, drafting claims, Individual Employment Agreements, dispute resolution and personal grievances (including representation at Mediation and the Employment Relations Authority), performance management and disciplinary processes, Company re-engineering, change management, redundancies and restructuring, incident, accident and misconduct investigation, occupational health and safety, SOP assessments and design for continuous improvement, Quality Management to ISO 9002 level and in the implementation of drug and alcohol policies.
